Double custom silhouette portraits are a great gift to capture siblings, couples, or even best friends. Choose your favorite color and opt for a name, age or meaningful quote to make it truly special. Please review The Process and Photo Tips prior to ordering. Frame not included.
Each silhouette is a modern twist on the traditional hand-cut art form, and because I'm illustrating them digitally I am able to capture eyelashes, ringlet curls and every curve of the face. I use the photo you supply to draw from, so make sure you're happy with it (the hair, whether the subject is smiling, etc.) All prints are printed on matte, bright white paper and packaged to ship USPS First Class with a tracking number.

Need a custom color? Select "Custom" and leave me a note at checkout with the CMYK, Pantone or Hex #. There may be slight variation between how colors appear on your screen and the final printed product.

Photo Tips

Here are some tips for taking ideal silhouette photos:

1. Squat down to eye level and make sure you aren't able to see your subject's other eye or cheek. 

2. Please take the photo in good lighting with the flash turned off.

3. Subject should be relaxed with hair styled as usual, however silhouette's look best with long hair pulled back or up to expose the neck. I unfortunately cannot accommodate requests to "composite" a silhouette using multiple photos (i.e. profile from one and hair from another) or "create" a hairstyle that is not shown in the photo. 

4. The entire head and neck should be visible and not cropped.

5. If photographing a young squirmy subject, try taking their picture while they're watching TV or asleep on their side.

The Process

1. Select your desired Size, Color and Font. I am happy to add a name, age, year or short quote underneath the silhouette or select "None" to leave it blank.

2. Upload your best photo - make sure you're happy with it! It's what I'll use to create the silhouette. Follow the easy requirements from the Photo Tips tab below. 

3. Add to cart. Repeat with any additional silhouette orders and checkout. You'll receive a confirmation at the email address entered at checkout and I'll get to work on your order! Using the same email, I'll send you a proof to approve within 3-5 days where you'll be able to make any minor changes (color, orientation, small profile edits). Once approved, I'll print and package up your silhouette(s) and ship to your door!
